Main Challenges for Recent Graduates Performing Endodontic Therapy
Date & Time: Monday, August 1, 2022 – 8PM (EST) , 7PM (CST) , 5PM (PST)
Location: Zoom Webinar
Audience: The Dental Professional
CE Credit: 2.0
This presentation is geared principally toward the recent dental graduate who feels somewhat intimidated by endodontics. Most undergraduate dental schools have such busy curriculums that minimal time is devoted to clinical endodontics. Consequently, this session will be dedicated to such issues as practical diagnosis, when to refer, how to achieve profound anesthesia, minimization of iatrogenic errors, various instrumentation techniques, and obturation options.
At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Recognize the challenges of performing endodontic therapy.
- Understand how to get patients profoundly numb.
- Have a better sense of endodontic instrumentation and metallurgy.
- Fully comprehend hydraulic condensation with bioceramics
- Understand when to refer and how to use the Case Difficulty Assessment Form
