This lecture course will introduce the dental professional to Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) imaging. Participants will be provided an overview of CBCT viewing software and a review of maxillofacial anatomy, and review sample cases for detection of abnormal radiographic findings. At the conclusion of the course participants will be able to:

• Navigate basic functions of Anatomage CBCT viewing software
• determine maxillofacial anatomy as depicted on CBCT imaging
• identify, describe, and determine a differential diagnosis of abnormal radiographic findings

Meet the Presenter: R. Todd Erickson, DDS, MS, Associate Professor of Radiology at ASDOH, is a graduate of Creighton University School of Dentistry. Dr. Erickson received a certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Detroit-Malcomb Hospital Corp. and worked in private practice for more than a decade before earning a Master of Science in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology from the University of North Carolina.
