An Introduction to Clinical Research is a faculty development course that offers an overview of clinical research methods, research ethics and dissemination. It is an online course designed to enhance research skills and is intended for preceptors, faculty and residents.

An Introduction to Clinical Research offers an overview of clinical research methods, research ethics, and dissemination. It is an online course designed to enhance your research skills and is intended for preceptors, faculty and residents. The course consists of five modules with a post-assessment for each module. The course is passed successfully with a result of 70 percent or higher on the final post-assessment.

  • Module 1: An Introduction to Clinical Research
  • Module 2: An Introduction to Qualitative Research
  • Module 3: An Introduction to Quantitative Research
  • Module 4: An Introduction to Research Ethics
  • Module 5: An Introduction to Disseminating Research Outcomes

Accreditation Statement

A.T. Still University-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Council on Continuing Medical Education of the American Osteopathic Association has approved this activity for 5 credits of AOA Category 1-B credit.
